We do not provide scholarships or direct financial assistance to individuals. However, people with CF may be eligible for a number of grants and loan assistance funding. Some are geared specifically for people with disabilities.
Allied Van Lines has created a scholarship in memory of Denis Rouault. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a young Albertan with CF attending university or college. For more information, contact our Edmonton & Northern Alberta Chapter.
Kin Canada, a long-time partner, established the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund to promote, encourage and sponsor educational programs and activities. Kin Canada Bursaries (program of Hal Rogers Endowment Fund) provides financial assistance for higher learning. Application deadline: early February. For more information, visit www.bursary.ca.
A number of Web sites provide information on funding options, including an on-line individualized search for scholarships. It may also be helpful to contact the Office of Students with Disabilities at your post-secondary institution for information on financial assistance.
