Bob Sutherland, a former partner at Fasken Martineau law firm, was one of Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s longest-standing volunteers. He has provided legal counsel to Cystic Fibrosis Canada for close to 50 years.
His contributions have been many – from helping with our organization’s application for supplementary Letters Patent to providing exceptional legal counsel on a range of topics.
From the early 1980s to 2007, he served as Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s Secretary and as a member of Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s Executive Committee.
In 2007, Bob received one of Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s highest honours, the Hall of Fame Award, presented to a person who has exhibited exemplary dedication to the mission of Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
Bob currently holds the title of Honorary Counsel and continues to provide Cystic Fibrosis Canada with important advice and support.
