Cystic Fibrosis Canada Grants & Awards Guide
Recent award competition results: none awarded in 2011/2012.
Subject to the availability of funds, a limited number of awards may be made to senior investigators from abroad who are invited to engage in CF research at a Canadian institution; or junior and senior Canadian investigators who wish to work in another laboratory in Canada or abroad. A senior investigator can be considered such if he or she has attained at least the position of an associate professor, or has six years of equivalent experience. It is intended that this experience as a Cystic Fibrosis Canada Visiting Scientist will, in some way, benefit the Canadian CF research effort.
Applications should be made in the form of a letter, with a brief budget included and accompanied by a supporting letter from the head of the appropriate department of the host university. A supporting letter signed by the head of the department and the dean of the faculty of the applicant's own university should also be provided.
Applicants to this program must have a faculty/institutional appointment.
Applications may be submitted at any time, but Cystic Fibrosis Canada should be consulted in advance with respect to the availability of funds.
